Lever1 is a Kansas City-based professional employer organization (PEO) providing a multitude of resources for businesses across the country. Integrated services enable business owners to cost-effectively outsource the management of human resources, payroll, employee benefits and Workers’ Compensation.

PEO clients are able to focus on their most pressing business operation in order to maintain and grow their bottom line. It is the goal of Lever1 to partner with other businesses to provide employer solutions to fit small and midsized business needs. Lever1’s biggest measurement of achievement is the growth and success of its clients.

By assisting businesses with their office management needs, Lever1 allows its clients to focus their resources on generating revenue. Utilizing Lever1’s PEO plan allows business owners the opportunity to provide their employees competitive benefits otherwise not feasible.

Erica Brune, CEO

As Owner and CEO of Lever1, Erica is responsible for strategic planning, management and business oversight. With Erica’s guidance, Lever1, a fully accredited professional employer organization, has secured an industry-wide reputation of excellence, operational reliability and thought leadership.

Gregory Gragg

Gregory Gragg, Executive Chairman

As Executive Chairman of Lever1, Greg Gragg has over 30 years of business management experience through business consulting and advisement. A true entrepreneur, Greg has spent the past 24 years growing his flagship advertising agency into one of the top companies in the Kansas City area, and has since started four additional companies specializing in lead generation, internet compliance, consulting, and business services.

Chad Braymer

Chad Braymer, President

Chad brings more than 26 years of experience in a wide variety of roles within the professional services industry to his position at Lever1. Over the course of his career, he has enabled tremendous growth in revenue and profitability by developing highly scalable operational processes and cohesive work teams.

Cheryl Daily

Cheryl Daily, Director of Employee Benefits

As Director of Employee Benefits, Cheryl brings over 20 years of experience to her role. Cheryl is a licensed insurance producer and works one-on-one with our clients and prospects to ensure they receive first class customer service and education regarding their benefit options. Her hands-on approach to benefits is an added benefit to small businesses looking to grow their organization.

Greg Chapman

Greg Chapman, Controller

Greg serves as our Controller and his expertise serves our clients in the capacity of all things related to business efficiencies. He is a CPA with over a decade of experience in both the public and private accounting. He advises our clients on the complexity of compliance regarding human resources, taxes, and accounting.

Christy Wilson

Christy Wilson, Business Development Director

Prior to joining Lever1, Christy was a senior staff member for Hallmark vice presidents and understands the importance of best practice HR policies in leading and maintaining an engaged workforce. Christy’s experience ranged from manufacturing and distribution to creative and marketing employee populations representing a broad range of compliance and policy perspectives. In addition to leading a charitable foundation, she has served on event and organizational boards for several nonprofits and is a member of NonProfit Connect.

Pam Martin

Pam Martin, Director of Recruiting Services

Pam Martin is our Director of Recruitment Services. Her strengths include relationship building among clients and candidates alike in order to optimize the recruiting match. She is active in a variety of key networking organizations including the Association for Corporate Group of Kansas City, Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG), and the Corporate Growth Group.

Diane Smith

Diane Smith, Business Development Director

As a natural leader, catalyst and builder, Diane has a record of success in giving clients, team members, and strategic partners the tools and resources they need to thrive. Diane joins Lever1 as Business Development Director where she will work closely with the Kansas City community to continue her passion of helping entrepreneurs thrive. Her past experience shows a history of prioritizing client relationship management and optimizing customer service. As a former business owner and with 10 years in professional banking, Diane brings real world experience and deep relationships in the KC market to continue our dedication to helping Kansas City businesses grow.

Jay Fisher

Jay Fisher, Systems Manager

Jay Fisher brings over 15 years of experience in human resources, hiring and payroll to his position as Systems Manager for Lever1. Jay is responsible for managing our HRIS systems as well as our timekeeping system. Through this role, Jay is able to analyze the needs of a variety of clients and businesses and personalize their experience.

Shannon Taylor

Shannon Taylor, Director of HR Services

Shannon brings over 20 years of experience in all areas of HR including HR Strategy, Recruitment and Employee Management. She has experience serving as a resource and advisor to clients on all areas of HR, including performance management, onboarding, terminations, handbook creation and updates, training, investigations, complaints and company P&P.

Bob Van Vliet, Director of Sales and Marketing

As the Director of Sales and Marketing Bob is focused on maintaining a growth model that will continue to propel Lever1 to be the top PEO option in every market we serve. With over 20 years experience in leading National Sales Teams, expansion and growth have always been a result of Bob’s organizational focus, customer-driven mindset, and an overwhelming desire to provide the absolute best to all our clients.

Pam Rosterman, Human Resources Manager

Pam brings over 30 years of experience to her role as HR Manager at Lever1. Pam brings HR experience focusing on organizational growth, and a winning culture. She also is a Certified Situation Leadership Trainer, providing clients with the training they need for their workforce.
